Ernie Image

ERNIE-Image is an open-source text-to-image model developed by Baidu ERNAI team with 8B parameters based on single-flow DiT architecture. It is lightweight yet high-performance and can be deployed locally on 24GB consumer GPUs. It excels in text rendering, multilingual typesetting and structured composition, supporting clear and stable text in Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean. With a built-in prompt enhancer, it automatically optimizes inputs and offers standard and Turbo versions for quality and speed. It supports various styles such as realism, illustration, anime, 3D and design, suitable for posters, comics, e-commerce materials, UI prototypes and data visualization. Licensed under Apache-2.0, it allows commercial use and secondary development, greatly lowering the barrier to high-quality AI image generation.
