Based on a recent preview, the streaming service's mobile application is set to undergo a major transformation, blending elements of TikTok, casual gaming platforms, and traditional streaming. The upcoming features include an AI-driven "Bravoverse" experience hosted by a digital version of television personality Andy Cohen, vertical broadcasts of live NBA games, and mobile gaming integrations. These additions are all crafted to encourage users to spend more time engaged with content on their smartphones. A central announcement was the introduction of "Your Bravoverse," a feature tailored for dedicated fans of the Bravo network, known for popular reality series such as "The Real Housewives" and "Vanderpump Rules."

This tool compiles short clips from over 5,000 hours of Bravo programming, assembling them into custom playlists. A standout element is the use of a generative AI avatar of Andy Cohen, the well-known host of "The Real Housewives" reunions, to guide viewers through the content. Users begin by selecting their preferred Bravo shows and memorable scenes. The AI then generates a personalized stream of video snippets. Cohen's digital persona serves as a narrator, providing context for moments, linking different story arcs, and even suggesting new series for viewers to explore. Internally, the platform utilizes computer vision technology to pinpoint crucial narratives and highlights within its library. Additional AI agents, trained on data about Bravo fan habits, assist in prioritizing content that resonates most with audiences, seamlessly combining clips from various seasons and franchises. Peacock states this system can produce over 600 billion potential viewing combinations.

For testing innovative AI-driven narrative experiences, Bravo's audience represents an ideal group. Followers of these shows are notably passionate, and the nature of reality television provides an abundance of short, engaging clips perfect for this format. The company reports that the average Bravo viewer consumes approximately 24 hours of content from the network each month, with the most ardent fans watching up to 75 episodes monthly. "Your Bravoverse" is scheduled to launch on mobile devices this summer, with support for living room devices like smart TVs to follow. Separately, Peacock is also pioneering new methods for watching live sports on phones. An upcoming feature will allow fans to stream games in a vertical format, using AI to intelligently crop the video in real-time for optimal viewing on mobile screens. A beta version of this vertical broadcast will be available during NBA games this spring.

This functionality will be located within Courtside Live, a mobile viewing option first introduced during the 2026 NBA All-Star Game. Courtside Live enables viewers to toggle between various camera angles in addition to the primary broadcast, offering a more dynamic way to experience the game.

That feed highlights clips from Peacock's extensive library, including television series, films, sports, and news coverage. This summer, the company intends to give vertical video its own dedicated section inside the app, a clear nod to the popularity of platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. This reflects a broader trend of streaming services competing directly with social media for audience attention. Peacock is not the only streamer exploring short-form content; Disney+ just launched its own mobile short-form feed for U.S. subscribers, showcasing moments from its shows and movies. Netflix has also indicated plans to broaden its short-form video offerings to help promote new original video podcasts. This also marks another step in Peacock's ongoing experimentation with AI, following a generative AI recap feature during the 2024 Summer Olympics that created personalized 10-minute summaries of daily events, narrated by an AI voice modeled after sportscaster Al Michaels.

The service is further growing its mobile gaming catalog after introducing mini-games last year. Two new mystery titles are launching: *Law & Order: Clue Hunter* and *Public Eye*. Both games are developed by AI gaming startup Wolf Games, co-founded by Elliot Wolf, son of "Law & Order" creator Dick Wolf. NBCUniversal formed a partnership with Wolf Games in October to create immersive games that involve collecting clues and using an AI assistant to solve crimes. Additionally, Peacock is adding a daily trivia experience based on the classic game show *Jeopardy!*, which will join existing app games like *Wheel of Fortune* and *Daily Swap*. Collectively, these updates signal a broader strategic shift for Peacock. Rather than competing solely as a conventional streaming service, the platform is actively reshaping its app into a more interactive entertainment hub. This pivot comes as the service seeks fresh avenues to boost user engagement and growth. Although Peacock has recently gained subscribers, it continues to operate at a financial loss. The streamer has grown to 44 million subscribers, up from a plateau of 41 million that persisted for three consecutive quarters last year. However, it reported a loss of $552 million for the fourth quarter of 2025.
