Current backers such as Khosla Ventures and General Catalyst are also said to be joining the round. This potential capital injection arrives just weeks after the company raised $320 million at a $2.3 billion valuation, underscoring its rapid ascent in the physical AI space.

The news aligns with earlier reports about the deal, positioning General Intuition as one of the most sought-after startups in the field. CEO Pim de Witte launched the company last October, spinning it out from his gaming clip-sharing platform, Medal. The startup leverages Medal's vast repository of hundreds of millions of hours of gameplay, along with "action labels" that document player button presses and timing, as its foundational training data.

While the round is still being finalized, a source close to the matter noted that it is already oversubscribed, reflecting strong investor interest. General Intuition plans to channel the new funds into advancing its general model, with a particular emphasis on robotic embodiments.
