Translation and Audio Guide Software

Journey Pal provides software to produce and distribute audio guides and transitions without requiring hardware or reprinting of signage. 

It hosts information digitally, so it is not physically constrained like traditional signage, and so more information can be hosted, in more languages. 

Additionally, it can be updated or edited without reprinting signage which makes it significantly faster. Journey Pal provides clients with QR codes which can sit beside an exhibit and when scanned, they automatically detect the language of the user's phone and provide the appropriate language and translation. 

There is no app to download, no deposit at the front desk, and no physical devices to maintain. Guides can be given away free or sold to visitors, so interpretation becomes a revenue line rather than a cost. 

Usage data shows which QR codes visitors interact with and which languages they use. Journey Pal is used by museums and heritage attractions including Shantytown, the New Zealand Rugby Museum and the Tūhura Otago Museum.

It is a tool to provide multilingual translations and audio.
