Floqer Launches AI-Powered Customer Knowledge Platform, Plans to Open-Source Core Technology

Floqer has built an autonomous customer knowledge platform aimed at B2B sales and marketing teams. At its core is an AI-powered database that continuously gathers, organizes, and refreshes the information companies rely on to understand their customers. The release is planned for early 2027, contingent on security reviews. The company also reports that it has crossed $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), with total revenue growing roughly tenfold over the past year.
The startup was founded by CEO Shivam Mahajan and Zaaheda Islam, who first met at university. Mahajan previously worked as a software engineer at Kyndryl, while Islam served as a senior data scientist at Axis Capital. Interestingly, Floqer's first product bore little resemblance to what it offers today.
"Anybody can go and log in with their ChatGPT account and then understand [information] and take notes."
It wasn't long before the founders observed enterprise companies using their extension to tidy up data inside their customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Those conversations revealed that CRM data cleanup was largely a manual effort, with few established processes for keeping customer records current.
"When we spoke with them, they told us that it's super manual for them to clean their CRM data, and there were no established processes around that," Mahajan said. "So that was insightful for us, and then we pivoted from there to build Floqer."

The challenge Floqer addresses will feel familiar to anyone who has worked in sales or revenue operations. Pinpointing potential customers requires hours spent combing through Google, LinkedIn, company websites, job boards, and other sources to find companies matching a particular profile — then hunting down the right people and their contact details. Floqer sets out to automate much of that research. Users simply describe what they're looking for, and AI agents search across multiple sources to assemble lists of relevant companies and contacts. According to the company, its system can enrich accounts — adding detail about the companies a sales team is targeting — by drawing on more than 100 third-party data sources. When a verified email address or phone number is needed, Floqer employs a "waterfall" approach, checking one data provider after another until it lands on usable information. The system also keeps continuous watch over the web for changes. If a prospect switches jobs, earns a promotion, or works at a company that secures new funding, those updates can flow into the user's customer records. Floqer characterizes the technology as a fleet of AI agents that constantly research companies, people, and customer interactions, sparing team members from doing that work by hand. The company says customers have reported cutting prospecting time by as much as 70%.
"Our autonomous customer knowledge database is only available to a limited audience, mostly due to how much demand our team can actually serve properly," Mahajan said. "But open-sourcing it will help us fix that."
The decision stems in part from customer demand. Mahajan noted that some companies prefer to host their own data rather than keep it within a vendor's proprietary platform. Others want to modify the technology or build on top of it.
"Our mission is to really enable every team to build their central source of growth," Mahajan said.
Before making the database publicly available, Floqer is running security reviews, since the database can hold sensitive customer information and large companies are already using it. Founded in 2024, Floqer has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding, with backing from investors including Perplexity's F7 Fund, N49P, Tidal Venture Partners, and Perplexity co-founder Denis Yarats. The company says it now employs eight people and serves more than 1,000 customers, among them Perplexity, Wise, and AngelList.
